“16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
Reflection:
The whole thought of the verse is that it shows how God’s love can mend one’s broken heart. Yes I am broke and shattered from the inside, but with the help of our Almighty God, I am able to see the reason why. This unfortunate event, brings me back into his loving arms. I admit I almost forget about him, I forgot to say may thanks and asked for his forgiveness. He gives me a reason not to hate him (person who hurt me) and the Lord makes me understand of what I have forgotten. –That he created me as a his special daughter so I deserve something better 🙂 and that makes my heart renewed. Jesus works in his own ways. We just need to give him our trust and faith.
As I was reading the verse- I also encountered this meaningful verse: ““If I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount” (Luke 19:1–10). It was such a beautiful reminder for me. We are all choosing our own path and we must take responsibility for it.
