It truly speaks to the idea that if something is meant for you, no matter what, it will come to you at the right time. Those who are close to me know; who really know me-know that I am a fan of BTS. I’ve been a silent ARMY since late 2014, loving and supporting them in my own little ways.
They were the ones who gave me strength and courage-to try again, to live again, one day at a time. As everyone says, “They will find you exactly when you need them.” They taught me to love myself again, to stay true to who I am, and to understand that it’s okay to fall as long as you learn how to rise back up. I can’t fully explain the magic they brought into my life; the happiness, the comfort, the sense of fulfillment.
I wasn’t able to secure a ticket when they came to Manila in 2017, even after lining up at the mall for almost four hours. I told myself maybe it just wasn’t the right time yet. Then came their solo tours, but because of life choices and adulting priorities, I still couldn’t see them.
And this year…. AHHHHHHHH (screeeaamminggg) this year became my best and luckiest one. After all the anxiety and doubts, I finally managed to secure a ticket. And I know it will all be worth it.
A dream come true.
