Lately, life hasn’t been easy. There’s been a certain heaviness in the air;
one of those phases where everything feels a little harder than it should.
And in the middle of all that, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking.
“Life is already difficult on its own, so why make it harder for other?”
I’ve come to realize how important it is to learn how to love and live for yourself.
Support from others is beautiful, it can comfort you, lift you, and remind you that you’re not alone.
But we can’t build our entire world around one person. We can’t depend on someone else to be there every time, in every way we need.
At some point, we have to learn how to move forward on our own.
To enjoy a quiet meal alone.
To explore new places without waiting for company.
To sit with ourselves and not feel empty.
Because the truth is, not everyone will always be available, and not everyone will see the world the same way you do. Your definition of happiness might look completely different from someone else’s and that’s OKAY.
What’s not okay is shrinking your world because of one person’s actions.
Someone might have hurt you.
They might have been wrong in your story but that doesn’t mean the entire world is the same. We’re all just people, trying in our own ways to live, to survive, to figure things out.
So why let one experience close you off from everything else?
There’s still so much good ✨if you choose to notice it.
The privilege of waking up each day.🌅
The ability to eat a full meal.🍛
The quiet strength of simply being here, still going.
We don’t talk about that enough.
And while I understand that everyone goes through different phases, I’m not here to invalidate anyone’s pain,
I do believe this: don’t let your difficult moments turn everything around you into something heavy too. Don’t let your struggles define the entire world.
Sometimes, what feels overwhelming now is just a small puzzle in the bigger picture.
Life is still beautiful.
Life is still fulfilling.
And despite everything, life is still worth living.
